When someone close to me gets pregnant, I pick up my knitting needles! My friend found out she was having a girl, but was protesting pink. I wanted to do something special for her, that was unique to her personality, and would be suiting for her daughter! I wrote the pattern myself, each color got it's own stitch! I staggered the opposing rows to keep it somewhat symmetrical. I am very pleased with the end result.
